Influence of muskrats on the biodiversity of wetlands

My poster analyzes data collected by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation regarding the biodiversity of wetlands in the St. Lawrence River Region of New York. The study examines how muskrat activity affects the biodiversity of native wetland plant species and the presence of invasive cattails. My analysis found that muskrat presence positively influences the biodiversity of native wetland plants; however, there was no evidence to support the idea that muskrat activity affects the presence of the invasive cattails.
Poster Presentation: Wednesday, April 23, 1:30 – 3 p.m.
