GST101 Intro to Global Studies
Introduction to Global Studies teaches conflict resolution and journaling skills aimed at creating informed, confident global citizens. In doing so, students gain the confidence necessary to voice and listen to the views of others, even if oppositional. The Global Citizen Journal (GCJ) allows students to document their feelings regarding current events, helping them to come up with potential solutions to reduce anxiety. The Center for Mediation and Collaboration—Rhode Island (CMCRI) visits the class to teach students about:

- Working Effectively with Groups
- Basic Meditation Skills
- Conflict Resolution Skills
