Gretchen Richardson ’22 Research Takeover

Gretchen Richardson ’22 is a History major with a concentration in law & government and minors in French and Business & Innovation. She spent the summer researching in Bermuda at the Bermuda Archives, the Bermuda National Library, and the National Museum of Bermuda thanks to PC’s Summer Undergraduate Research Grant through the Center for Engaged Learning. Dr. Steven Carl Smith of the Department of History and Classics is her faculty mentor. The project focuses on Bermuda’s maritime economic, geographical, and political importance and expansion leading up to the imperial crisis from 1740 to 1800.
