Students registered in SPN 205 Spanish for Heritage Speakers collaborated with the Rhode Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce designing bilingual web pages for small Hispanic businesses in Rhode Island. Through this project students had the opportunity to help a small business be more competitive by increasing its visibility through a website in English and in Spanish. At the same time, it was an opportunity for students to see positive changes with which they can contribute to their academic growth as well as to the betterment of the greater Hispanic community.
