Jailene Vázquez ’22 and Nathalie Gonzalez ’22 Research Takeover
Jailene Vázquez ’22 and Nathalie Gonzalez ’22 are Health Policy and Management majors. They spent the summer in Puerto Rico researching the ways in which healthcare workers have been affected by Hurricane Maria and by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a joint research project headed by PC’s own Dr. Jessica Mulligan and Dr. Adriana Garriga-Lopez of Kalamazoo College. They conducted their fieldwork on the main island thanks to our NSF grant.
