The link between America’s Industrial Revolution and Transportation Revolution is vital to understanding both movements in American History. The Blackstone River Valley, the birthplace of American industrialization, is no exception to this. The building of the Ashton Viaduct and the production of Beta Cloth are two stories that show the impact that industrialization and transportation have on one another.
