Suicide remains one of the most impactful and poorly understood topics in Psychology. As of now, it is very difficult, even for experienced clinicians, to predict which of their patients will make an attempt on their own lives. Our research aims to identify common factors reported by individuals who report thoughts of suicide. We proposed that these individuals would share a set of common positive factors. Our project used secondary, correlational analysis of an existing dataset collected at Penn State in 2008.
