Faculty Mentor: Dr. Kathleen Cornely, Chemistry and Biochemistry
Poster Presentation: Wednesday, April 24, 1:30 – 3 p.m.
This project involves the isolation and purification of mycobacteriophage LBerry. The phage was purified from soil samples; then the DNA was isolated, sequenced and annotated. Based on sequence similarity with other mycobacteriophages, LBerry is an A3 cluster phage.
