This project will analyze how incorporating more juvenile rehabilitation opportunities, commonly used for juvenile offenders, in the adult prison system can bring reform to the issue of mass incarceration. Included is an analysis on how the youth are treated as they progress through the justice system compared to adults. There will be a variety of perspectives ranging from prior attorneys to former incarcerated individuals, and their opinions on how the system can be improved. Overall, the objective is to bring more awareness to the faulty justice system and emphasize the importance of giving individuals the chance of rehabilitation.
